2019 Spring Breakout Series Race #1Road season is here! We had a great 1st race at Spring Breakout Series race. The weather held out, and we only had wind to work with. Thanks for all the fans and volunteers for cheering! Enjoy the photos below of the podiums and BVW present. The BVW will be spending the next several weekends participating in local road races and local running races, as well as traveling to regional stage races in Washington. Stay tuned for details!
The time is nigh to sign up for this year's gravel race hosted by BVW. Last year we had an awesome turnout, and great conditions, which we hope to see again this year! Let's beat last years numbers and break 100 racers! Tell your friends about it too.

May Race Season is Ramping up!The month of May is beautiful in Boise. We begin to have warmer and more predictable weather, our sunlight lasts a bit longer and the races start ramping up! The Boise VeloWomen have had a busy and fun month of May this season including the State Road Race, Boise UpCycle's Wednesday Night Short Tracks, the first of the SWICA Crits, The Lyle Pearson 200 and Knobby 9-5. Additionally, your Boise VeloWomen hosted a brand new race, The Gem Grit Grinder on May 20th, with huge success (click here to read more about GGG2017)
This weekend started the race season off with a bang, with team members racing in multiple disciplines across multiple states. Members raced the 1st of the Bob's Spring Breakout Series put on by Bob's Bicycles, Echo Red2Red MTB race in Echo, Oregon, and the 1st of the Oregon Gravel Grinder series - Gorge Gravel Grinder in The Dalles, Oregon. 2017 MembersWe had our first team meeting of 2017 that included pictures, fun, and team ride planning with Douglas Tobin; We have an exciting year to look forward to, and several new members we have welcomed to the team. Thank you to those who have supported us this year, and especially those who continue to support us along our journey to cycling greatness and promotion. 2017 promises to be a year of new bike races locally, new competition in women's cycling, and a lot of fun on 2 wheels. When you think about your resolutions for the coming year, we hope riding a bike will be near the top of the list.
