The 1st week of May brought us lovely weather, and two more races. Read below on how things went, and check out the slideshow at the bottom!

Seven of our ladies have completed the Idaho State Road Race produced by G Corsa Events. This race is ~38 miles and ~1800 feet of elevation gain. The group typically stays together until Little Freezout hill, a long wicked climb. Then the fight is against the chip seal roads and wind, followed by about 1.5 miles of gnarly gravel. Lastly, the fight to the finish is up a steep and windy Old Freezout Climb. Nice job everyone!
Here's the results!
  • Cat 3: Anna M. 1st
  • Cat 4: Erin S. 2nd, Kelsey S. 3rd, Morgan C. 4th, Erin M. th; Morgan M. 9th.
  • Masters 35+: Trisha W. 2nd.

Wednesday Night MTB Short Track Race #1

Picture
The Boise Rush presents a fast and furious Wednesday night MTB Short Track series that is taking place at the Eagle Bike Park at least four weeks this Summer (Hopefully more depending on participation).  While technically a MTB race, many competitors chose to ride their cyclocross bikes. The results from the 1st race of the year were very PURPLE! Cat 3 results: 1st: Leah M, 2nd: Tiedji B., 3rd Erin M.
Congrats to all our ladies who participated, both winners, and 1st time MTB racers (Jessica!)!
