This weekend started the race season off with a bang, with team members racing in multiple disciplines across multiple states. Members raced the 1st of the Bob's Spring Breakout Series put on by Bob's Bicycles, Echo Red2Red MTB race in Echo, Oregon, and the 1st of the Oregon Gravel Grinder series - Gorge Gravel Grinder in The Dalles, Oregon. The last 2 weeks have led up to the end of cyclocross season. Read on for results from the last 2 weekends of racing AND the end of year party for series and overall awards. 

BVW have a fantastic cyclocross race coming soon in Emmett, Idaho at Crimson Gem Orchard, a working apple and cherry orchard.  Proceeds to benefit the Emmett Valley Friendship Coalition and Food Bank so bring your perishable food items to earn additional raffle tickets. See the details below! 

Idaho Augusts are known for being hot and dry. Our grass gets less green, our gardens tend to wilt. And with fire season in full force, the Boise skies fill with smoke and athletes face the daily question, "Is it too smokey to train outdoors?" In between checking the Air Qualiy Index, the Boise VeloWomen were still dedicated to training and succeeding in some of August's awesome events.  

Between team events, our ladies have been having fun competing in other events, MTB races, endurance rides, and Triathlons! See below for more info!

Every Summer, Criterium season ends with a bang at the ASWB Banducci Twilight Criterium and Idaho State Criterium Championships. This year, both races became part of the Treasure Valley Grand Prix, adding a time trial to Friday night, and adding collaboration and excitement with the hand-cycling community.  Read more for the deets!
