The Boise VeloWomen have begun Spring Training! After a successful indoor training program at the House of Pain, the BVW hit the road two weeks ago to prep as a team for the first road race of the season, "Hammer at the Slammer" on March 5th, organized by G Corsa events. We had a team clinic with elite cyclist Jenn Halliday, and have resumed our Sunday team rides for team skills training and team fun. We are very excited to have several new strong riders on the team this year, and even more psyched to use our new team skills to strive towards a competitive road race season. To top off this awesome Spring weather, we also have a new sponsor this year, Kali Protectives, who donated matching lids to make us a more uniform, safe, and definitely faster team. Appropriately, it looks like we have crowns on our heads! Plan on seeing a lot of purple and red on the roads this year! Enjoy the pics and video below!
