Spring Races Abound!

Spring has sprung, and our members have been taking advantage of the beautiful weather by participating in various competitive events, including swimming, biking, and running - oh Tri! Here's some highlights!

• 4/2-4/3: Erin Shelton participated in The Gorge Roubaix in The Dalles, Oregon. She raced strong both days, the only woman representing Boise, taking 7th of 24 and 5th of 11 for Cat 4 women. 
• 4/3: Tiedji Baker ran the Boise Spring Runs 10k placing 3rd overall!

• 4/9: Nadine Carter and Joy Adams participated in the Barking Spider season XC MTB opener put on by Wild Rockies in the Treasures Valley. Joy earned 1st place in the Pro women division. Nadine earned top Cat 3 woman out of 13, 1st place in her age group out of 9 overall in Cat 3 30-39, and 1st place Cat 3 30-39 women. 
• 4/9: The first triathlon of the year was the YMCA Spring Sprint, featuring both Trisha Wineman and Evee Vickers. Evee earned 5th in her age group, and Trisha earned 2nd of 11 in her age group!
